An aluminum profile bending machine is a specialized piece of equipment used to cold-bend aluminum profiles into arcs or circles. Its core working principle is based on roll bending and plastic deformation control.
The principle of "three points determine a circle": Three or more rollers arranged in a specific layout cause the aluminum profile to gradually undergo plastic deformation under continuous force, ultimately forming an arc or a complete circle with the desired curvature.
Roll forming: Driven by a drive roller, the aluminum profile passes between a set of adjustable rollers. Each roller applies pressure and rotates in coordination, causing the material to bend continuously along the roller surface.
Hydraulic or mechanical control of bending amount: By adjusting the vertical/horizontal position of the main roller (usually the upper roller or side roller), the distance between it and the drive roller is controlled, thereby precisely controlling the bending radius.
